A prefilled vape kit is a rechargeable device that runs on prefilled pods. The customer charges it over USB-C and fits a new pod when the e-liquid is used up, so the device is kept and only the pod is replaced. The number in a kit's name is the manufacturer's puff rating. It is a useful way to compare kits, but it is a rating, not a guarantee, because real use depends on how each person draws. As a rough guide, compact kits from 600 to around 8,000 puffs suit customers who want a lighter device, while the 15,000 and 30,000-plus kits suit people who want to change pods less often. Most shops do well with a couple of sizes from the two or three brands their customers already ask for, rather than every brand at once.
Stock the pods as well as the kits
The kit is a one-off sale and the pods are the repeat purchase. Customers come back for replacement pods in the flavour they like, so keep matching prefilled pods on the shelf for every kit you carry. Replacement pods are available for many of these ranges. Pods are not interchangeable between kits, so check the product page for the device a pod fits.
