Wholesale 200ml shortfills for UK vape shops
A 200ml shortfill is a nicotine-free e-liquid in a large bottle, sold for customers who get through e-liquid quickly and prefer fewer, larger bottles. This collection brings together 200ml shortfills from the brands UK customers ask for by name, so you can stock the larger format alongside your 50ml and 100ml ranges from one supplier.
200ml shortfill brands in the range
The Calypso 200ml shortfill.
The Bang 200ml shortfill.
Further 200ml lines, including Fruity Fizz, Just Jam and The Rituals.
How 200ml shortfills and nic shots work
Shortfills are sold nicotine-free because UK rules limit bottles of nicotine e-liquid to 10ml. Customers who want nicotine add separate 10ml nic shots. Where the bottle has room for four shots, four 18mg shots added to a 200ml shortfill make 240ml of 3mg e-liquid.
Bottle sizes and the number of shots they take vary by brand, so check the label, and keep nic shots next to your shortfills. See our nic shots.
VG ratios and the devices they suit
Many shortfills are high-VG, with 70VG and 30PG common, and they generally suit sub-ohm tanks and sub-ohm vape kits. Ratios vary by brand and some ranges are made for other devices, so check each product page and follow the device's own guidance.
Choosing a range for your shop
Larger bottles take more shelf space, so start with the flavour families your customers already buy, such as fruit, tobacco and coffee, and add lines as your reorders show what moves. Keep 200ml bottles with the rest of your shortfills so customers can compare sizes, and see the 100ml e-liquids and 500ml e-liquids for the other large formats. For the full range, see our wholesale e-liquids.
Vaping Products Duty and duty stamps
From 1 October 2026, vaping liquid is charged Vaping Products Duty at £2.20 per 10ml, whether or not it contains nicotine, and it is paid by manufacturers and importers. A 200ml shortfill is charged on 200ml of liquid, so it carries £44 of duty on new stock. New stock carries a duty stamp, existing unstamped stock can be sold until 31 March 2027, and from 1 April 2027 all vaping products sold must be stamped. Keep invoices and delivery notes for any pre-duty stock you hold.
What to check before you list a shortfill
- Shortfills must be nicotine-free, with space left for nic shots if the bottle is sold that way.
- Containers should be child-resistant and tamper-evident, and products should be notified to the MHRA.
- Sales are restricted to adults aged 18 and over, and supplier documentation should be kept on file.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 200ml shortfill?
A 200ml shortfill is a nicotine-free e-liquid in a large bottle, usually with room left for nic shots. UK rules limit nicotine e-liquid to 10ml bottles, so larger bottles are sold at 0mg. Customers who want nicotine add separate 10ml nic shots to the bottle and shake it well.
How many nic shots does a 200ml shortfill take?
It depends on the bottle, so check the label. Where the bottle has room for four shots, four 18mg shots make 240ml of 3mg e-liquid. Match the number of shots to the amount of e-liquid inside, and keep nic shots next to your shortfills so the two sell together.
What VG ratio do 200ml shortfills use?
Many are high-VG, with 70VG and 30PG common, and they generally suit sub-ohm tanks. Ratios vary by brand and some ranges are made for other devices, so check each product page and follow the device's own guidance before recommending a bottle.
Does Vaping Products Duty apply to 200ml shortfills?
Yes. From 1 October 2026 the duty is £2.20 per 10ml of vaping liquid, whether or not it contains nicotine, so a 200ml bottle carries £44 on new stock. It is paid by manufacturers and importers. Unstamped stock made or imported before that date can be sold until 31 March 2027.
Are 200ml shortfills legal to sell in the UK?
Yes, to adults aged 18 and over, provided they are nicotine-free and meet UK TPD rules. Containers should be child-resistant and tamper-evident, and products should be notified to the MHRA. Keep supplier documentation on file for each product you list, and keep age checks in place on every sale.
